This is a busy route serving 3 primary schools and 2 main shopping areas (Swan Centre and Yew Tree). Footpaths are quite wide here and could accommodate traffic free cycle route. This would also give access to the Cole Valley cycle route through to Heartlands Hospital and Stechford, and to the Grand Union canal route for access to central Birmingham.
