Yet another driver ignoring the law about ASLs. All too common.
The Highway Code Rule 178: www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTransport/Highwaycode/DG_070332
And, yes, a cyclist jumps a red light. A small irritation that another decides to bring all cyclists into disrepute (well, in the mind of some rather dull ranters!*). It could be that the cyclist didn't feel safe with the car in the ASL, but probably not.
* In the recent police "crackdown" on irresponsible cyclists they managed to spot 1 every 80 minutes. I see 10 times as many cyclists pass my house every minute. Hardly the terrible illegality that is purported. Whereas in another study, 75% of drivers were spotted speeding in town.
