I take up my position to pass the parked cars. I'm at them as a oncoming car appears. I don't ride in the door zone. The driver of the car simply keeps driving straight on assuming that I have space to get out of their way. Only at the last moment does the driver attempt the squeeze, clearly with no thought of safety around them.

No planning in their manoeuvre.
