Uncontrolled dropped kerb crossing with limited visibility of traffic turning right from A38 south. This has been unsafe to me as a parent when i try to cross the route with the pram

Absolutely awful junction - very unsafe. Must stop cars turning right as they come up the hill or put in a mini roundabout (the type that buses and lorries can drive over slowly if need be but visible for al)l. Even traffic lights would per ... [more]

.Since the introduction of a Traffic filter on Cambridge Rd, Woodfield Rd has become much busier with vehicles exceeding the 20mph limit.

Pedestrianise Gooch St and Horton Sq in this area, allowing for busy cycle route to pass which is currently plagued with parked cars.

Hole Lane, which is narrow, is used as a rat-run, and this crossroads on a busy road is dangerous and difficult to negotiate on a bike. Close Hole Lane to through motor traffic, and improve the junction to make it cycle-friendly.

Some form of filter is needed here to stop it being used as a rat run. There is a nursery at the corner which is negatively impacted by the pollution and noise of through traffic

Rat run avoiding Northfield main road and lights. The whole estate from Meadow Brook Rd to Long Mynd Rd and Spiceland Rd are used as a cut thorugh. Speeds exceed 60 mph in a 30 mph and what was a once quiet neighbourhood is now blighted by ... [more]

Total rat run 1950s road very narrow and hilly blind spots. speeding cars and motorbikes 7.5 ton limit but ignored by many large trucks which have to go on the pavement to get by parked cars.

Rat running, excessive speed, heavy lorries on narrow (20ft wide) 1950 designed estate roads. Barely wide enough for 2cars to safely pass. Add in on road parking(pavement!!) and it is unsafe. Close the road to through traffic and improve ai ... [more]

Close one end of this street to prevent car racing

With the proposed closure of School Road, traffic will be forced down Cotton Lane. Cotton Lane has a single pavement between school road and number 15. Next to number 15 is a blind corner. Children and families regularly cross the road h ... [more]

Is Temple Street a shared space or not? it's just quite naff at the moment and there's a lot of unused car parking. Remove it all, repave it and pedestrianise it properly, planting new trees as far as Bull Street

Remove the parking and vehicle access here (it's a dead end anyway) and make this a nice boulevard looking out over the pool

The Raddlebarn/Heely/Umberslade road junction has too high a volume of traffic, making it hazardous to cyclists and those crossing the road. Restricting vehicle movements at this junction may help.

Why is Gibbins Road a through route for motor traffic? It runs parallel to the A38, and is between a park and a residential area!

Motorists notoriously bad at observing the stop line here, and drive onto the cycleway without checking for approaching cyclists. Could easily close this junction to motor traffic entirely, there's no need for Sir Harry's Road to be a thro ... [more]

Wilful habitual speeding by large loud excessively high powered cars limits who can safely use this RD, this prevents safe cycling and walking, and fear of reckless driving also inhibits Normal social interaction between the residents, time ... [more]

This RD is used as a rat run by cars avoiding avenue Rd and th High St, creating intolerable levels of traffic(noise, pollution) for a residential back street

Using a one way system would massively improve the safety of everyone using this road. Closing this junction is the solution to a potentially bigger problem emerging.

Motorists travel far too fast through this junction. Closing it would reduce opportunities to race. It's for everyone's safety.

This is an extremely busy and dangerous junction. The speed at which vehicles travel increases the already existing dangers to other motorists and pedestrians. Closing this junction would not only improve the safety of motorists and residen ... [more]

Too dangerous for bikes, and is a deterrent for Solihull based cyclists getting in to the city centre.

This road is used as a high speed rat run from Avenue Road to High Street. Block this road west of the junction with Highbury Road to prevent traffic speeding from Avenue Road to the High Street. Instead traffic from Avenue Rd will have t ... [more]

This is a high speed rat run to and from the High Street with routine speeding. Block the road here so that rat running traffic cannot travel straight from High St to Avenue Road. Traffic will have to continue via York Road and Station Roa ... [more]

Close this road to through motor traffic. It is a narrow road with dangerous high speed rat running.

Can't believe that this road has not been closed yet. It is so dangerous! Surely a temporary barrier can be installed allowing access for ambulances etc?

Very dangerous road narrows here on bend, not enough room for cyclists, and pedestrians to safely get through without getting mown down. There are near misses regularly. Ban overtaking on this bend. Bus route was moved several years ago d ... [more]

Close the Tenbury Road/Featherstone Road junction as it’s a dangerous rat run.

Too many cars cut through Tenbury Road to avoid traffic lights at Alcester Rd /Howard Rd. Race up & down Tenbury Road at high speed!

Change priority from Tenbury / Tenbury to All Saints heading south / Tenbury heading west plus adjust kerb lines, road markings and appropriate signage. Does away with closing the Alcester Rd / Tenbury junction which would put more pressur ... [more]

Busy junction which is mostly used by traffic moving between Alcester / Howard / Grove and makes Tenbury and Featherstone incredibly busy

It's the start of lots of vehicles using Tenbury Road as a rat run.

Close the junction of Tenbury and Featherstone roads with Alcester Road South to prevent cut-through traffic racing through.

Whole of this area would be perfect for low traffic neighbourhood

Remove parking, widen the pavements so that shops and restaurants can use the space to trade and social distance. Make it a walking and cycling zone with cars invited. Reduce speed limit and signpost this widely. Current 20mph is largely i ... [more]

Some years ago, this end of the road was closed for a prolonged period due to roadworks. This reduced traffic speeds on Alton Road, and caused no ill effects. Make it permanent!

Due to buses travelling in both directions, cars are obliged to park on the pavement. One way traffic would clear pavements for people.

Far too many drivers are driving too fast on all the roads radiating out from this roundabout. The 20mph restriction is not working.

Road is too narrow due to railway bridge. Cars ignore 20mph limit and do 40+. Very unsafe with narrow pavements. Just used as a cut through from A5127 to Clarence Road. Major use by schoolchildren and parents/elderly people.

Stop right turns from A435 into Livingstone Road - will stop people speeding & using it as cut through from A4040

A narrow ancient lane used as a rat run.A favorite for speeders.Ideal link from northfield to bartley green and countryside for walkers and cyclists. Who currently risk there lives if they use it.

Prevent cars turning into Highgate St on this bend and enforce parking restrictions on zig-zags at crossing and on bends. Cars cut across cyclists to go straight on into Highgate St.

Need to physically prevent drivers making illegal right turns from Moseley Road into Edward Road

Make Taunton Road one-way to discourage motorised traffic using it as a high-speed rat-run, and encourage pedestrian/cyclist use as a clear route joining up A435 and A41.

Filter/make St Johns Road one-way. Dangerous junction with pavement parking discourages cyclists and pedestrians from using potential clear route between A41 and A435.
